
Ron Roeble, CTRS
Director of Recreational Therapy
Ron received his bachelors degree, graduating with honors, in recreational therapy from the university of Toledo in 2012.
Shortly after graduating, Ron moved to Indiana and has been working with individuals on the waiver for over 12 years. Ron also spent many years coaching basketball with the Special Olympics in Fort Wayne, where he was able to assist clients in achieving their goals on and off the court. Ron enjoys helping his clients reach new heights in all aspects of their life and being an advocate for those in need.
As the Director of Recreational therapy for Torres Behavioral Health, Ron enjoys mentoring new therapists and advocating for the field of Recreational Therapy. When he’s not working, Ron can be found cheering on his hometown Cleveland and Ohio sports teams, exploring the community, and spending time with his girlfriend and their two dogs.
Ron currently serves the Allen and Dekalb county areas.
Haley Ochoa, CTRS

Haley received her Bachelor of Science in recreational therapy from Indiana University, where she graduated with distinction in May of 2020.

Justin received his Bachelor of Science in therapeutic recreation from Western Carolina University in 2018.

Tiffany received her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy from Western Carolina University in 2018.

OUR SERVICE

Recreational Therapy
Recreational therapy, also known as therapeutic recreation, is a systematic process that utilizes recreation and other activity-based interventions to address the assessed needs of individuals with illnesses and/or disabling conditions, as a means to psychological and physical health, recovery and well-being.
The purpose of the RT process is to improve on the 5 domains of Recreational Therapy. These include physical, spiritual, artistic, intellectual and social and sensory domains in order to facilitate full participation in life. Services are provided or directly supervised by a “Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist” (CTRS).
