Ron Roeble, CTRS
Director of Recreational Therapy
Ron received his bachelor of science in recreational therapy degree from the University of Toledo, where he graduated Cum Laude in May of 2012.
At Toledo, he served as the Vice President of the University Recreational Club where he organized annual Disability Awareness Events and worked with community organizations, such as the Ability Center of Greater Toledo, to plan annual wheelchair football games. Ron completed his internship at the Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan.
Ron has over 10 years of experience working within the waiver system as a recreational therapist, starting in the fall of 2012, where he has worked with clients with a wide variety of diagnoses and ranging in age from 3years old to 90. Ron has also been a volunteer coach for special olympics basketball for over 7 years now where he enjoys pushing clients and athletes to reach their full potential on and off the court.
Haley Ochoa, CTRS

Haley received her Bachelor of Science in recreational therapy from Indiana University, where she graduated with distinction in May of 2020.

Justin received his Bachelor of Science in therapeutic recreation from Western Carolina University in 2018.

Tiffany received her Bachelor of Science degree in Recreational Therapy from Western Carolina University in 2018.

OUR SERVICE
Recreational Therapy
Recreational therapy, also known as therapeutic recreation, is a systematic process that utilizes recreation and other activity-based interventions to address the assessed needs of individuals with illnesses and/or disabling conditions, as a means to psychological and physical health, recovery and well-being.
The purpose of the RT process is to improve on the 5 domains of Recreational Therapy. These include physical, spiritual, artistic, intellectual and social and sensory domains in order to facilitate full participation in life. Services are provided or directly supervised by a “Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist” (CTRS).
